Melograno - Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella

My favorite olfactory discovery of 2025. Melograno's name is misleading - it smells nothing like pomegranate. But it does feature the ultimate blend of powdery soft patchouli and mossy notes. And like most other SMN fragrances, there's a classic, almost soapy element to it. I wear this most days and it makes me feel like a Botticelli painting or a Medici heiress in Renaissance Florence.
