Chuquimamani-Condori - Precious Memories NTS Mix

One of the greatest nights I’ve had in months happened in New York at Montez Press Radio in a room with maybe 50 other people listening and dancing to a live DJ set by Joshua Chuquimia Crampton and his sibling Chuquimamani-Condori (also known as DJ E). This NTS mix by Chuquimamani-Condori is absolutely transcendent and I am eternally grateful to them and Joshua for introducing me to the beauty of Andean music. There is a reason that despite its unavailability to stream on Spotify and Apple Music, Joshua and Chuquimamani-Condori’s joint album, Los Thuthanaka, was named pitchfork’s #1 album of the year. Andeo-futurism is the wave.
