
A Frank Lloyd Wright masterpiece built for Aline Barnsdall, whom the park was named after. The oil heiress, born in 1882, was a philanthropist, actress, and supporter of socialist and feminist movements. She and her daughter Betty (known affectionately as Sugartop) lived in the house together for many years, as Aline chose not to marry.
